Trust is the most important thing we have. This Ethics Policy explains the standards that every Rock Kitchen article follows.

Editorial Independence

Our editors decide what to cover and what to recommend. Advertisers, affiliate partners and manufacturers have no say in our conclusions, rankings or scores, and they do not see articles before publication.

No Paid Placements

We do not accept payment, free products in exchange for coverage, or any other benefit in return for including, ranking or praising a product. If we ever receive a product sample, we will say so clearly in the article, and it will not change how we evaluate it.

Honesty About Our Methods

We describe our process accurately. Our guides are based on specifications, verified-buyer feedback and independent sources, as explained on our How We Test page. We never invent hands-on tests, quotes or personal experiences, and we do not publish fake reviews or ratings.

Affiliate Disclosure

We earn commissions from some links, including as an Amazon Associate. Every article with affiliate links carries a clear disclosure. See our Affiliate Disclaimer.

Accuracy and Corrections

We work hard to get facts right. When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and, for significant errors, add a note explaining what changed. Report errors to [email protected].

Safety First

When a topic involves food safety, electrical safety or high-heat cooking, we point readers to authoritative guidance (for example USDA food-safety recommendations) and to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Accountability

This policy is maintained by our Editor-in-Chief, Daniel Mercer. Questions about our standards are always welcome.
